DescriptionWe prefer people who have similar attitudes to us. We can get on with people whose attitudes are moderately different, but we will be repulsed by people whose attitudes are particularly different from us. When looking for friends, we will first exclude people whose attitudes are outside of an acceptable range, before looking more positively for closer friends.
